Finished 20 Slaves

I know. 20 Slaves. Pah. But it's a start! Just another 40 to go and that's all my old metal Skaven finally getting put to some use since, what, the late 90's when I originally bought them! ( Just thought then... I was about 29 when I bought them... and am now 41 when they finally got painted. SCARY!!! )

I plan to replace my current clanrats, the 'monkey plastics', with the new ones, and use the old ones as slaves as well. That'll bump my total up to around 120 slaves eventually. Still not a huge amount by some peoples standards, but 2 units of 60 in time will provide a cracking speed bump.

I've had 20 of the new clanrats since they came out, but for some reason I did them with spears. Doh. Am planning to keep them in the box for when the Dreaded 13th  gets cast... well you do need a few spare rats kicking about for that scary-arsed spell!

So now I need to get onto E-bay and start buying-in 3 to 4 units of 20 hand weapon and shield clanrats.... god the prospect of all that painting makes me feel a little queasy...

Also currently working on the 20 plastic night runners at the same time as the slaves, that are to be used as Gutter Runners.

Good god.

Who'd have a horde army?

20 Slaves. Honest, they DO look better in 'real life'!

PS.... They're 99% finished. Still havent found my bloody static grass!
